Solentim, along with collaborator Janssen, will be speaking and exhibiting at the 8th Annual Cell Line Development and Engineering Asia Conference
Solentim, a global leader in cell line development instrumentation, will be speaking and exhibiting at the 8thAnnual Cell Line Development and Engineering Asia conference, 14th-16thMay 2019, in Shanghai. Experts from the Company will be on hand throughout the event at the Solentim exhibition booth (#14) to discuss our latest innovations and to answer any questions.
George Hutchinson, Head of Global Distribution at Solentim, will be speaking at the event. Don’t miss his talk: “Case Study and Application of Plate Imaging Systems for Clonality,” at 11.30am on Wednesday 15thMay.
Also speaking at the event is Thomas Kelly, Scientist at Janssen R&D Cell & Developability Sciences Group in Philadelphia, who will discuss the VIPS in his talk “Accelerating Cell Line Development using Transposase-Mediated Integration and Verified In-Situ Plate Seeding,” at 12 noon on Wednesday 15thMay.
We have close ties with Janssen; by using Solentim’s VIPS technology Janssen has doubled the speed of its cell line development projects while still satisfying the clonality requirements of the Medicines’ Regulators. Janssen replaced the previously relied upon ClonePix technology with the VIPS; due to the tremendous success of this introduction, they have now invested in a further two VIPS units. Kelly will discuss Janssen’s use of Solentim’s technology in his talk.
The 8thAnnual Cell Line Development and Engineering Asia conference provides a unique learning and sharing platform for the cell line development industry, discussing key topics such as biologics, cell line market trends and clonality best practice.
Dr Ian Taylor, Chief Commercial Officer for Solentim, commented: “The Annual IBC Cell Line Development and Engineering Asia conference is a great opportunity to share knowledge, create business opportunities and discuss innovative ideas related to cell line development. We look forward to presenting at the conference, and to hearing Thomas Kelly discussing Solentim’s technology.”
Solentim will be at booth #14 throughout the event – please come along to our talk, visit us at our booth, or get in touch to arrange a meeting.
