Staying connected at Bioprocessing Summit Europe Virtual
We are pleased to announce that we will be joining the global bioprocessing community at the 3rd Annual Bioprocessing Summit Europe, now a virtual event, taking place 21-23 July 2020.
Ian Taylor, Chief Business Officer at Solentim, will present at 11:30 on Thursday 23rd. His presentation, “The Challenge and Demands for establishing a new Cell Line Development Lab”, will look at the main challenges faced when setting up a new lab, including how, for a limited number of scientists with perhaps limited domain experience, do you go about purchasing the right platform solution, and how Solentim is uniquely positioned to help new CLD groups.
At 12:35 on 23rd, following Ian’s talk, Gabriela Kozejova, Senior Scientist, Protein & Cellular Sciences, GlaxoSmithKline, will give the presentation “How to Be Good at Being Single? Evaluation of VIPS Single-Cell Printer for Generation of Stable Cell Lines”, where she will discuss the impact of implementing systems such as Solentim’s VIPSTM and Cell Metric® instruments at GSK.
Mark Truesdale, CEO at Solentim, commented: “Maintaining connections and conversation within the research community is essential for accelerating the development of high quality biologics, mAbs and vaccines, and we look forward to reconnecting with the experts and innovators making these advances possible.”
The Summit will host over 100 speakers across 8 tracks, including upstream and downstream processing, cell and gene therapy and analytical and formulation. The conference connects leading bioprocessing scientists and technology providers to discuss the latest developments and trends in cell culture, cell line, protein expression, recovery, purification, cell and gene therapy manufacturing, analytical characterisation, formulation and aggregates. The Summit also features interactive breakout sessions, a joint plenary keynote session on vaccine and viral vector manufacturing, and an exhibit hall to provide in-depth coverage of critical bioprocess topics.
Please get in touch to find out how Solentim can help you accelerate the development of your Master Cell Banks and ensure you are confidently prepared for regulatory review.
