Clarity in cell line development

Solentim, along with collaborator Janssen, and partners ATUM and Valitacell, will be making a splash at BPI Europe

Solentim, a global leader in cell line development instrumentation, will be attending and exhibiting at BPI Europe, 2-5 April, in Vienna, Austria. Experts from the Company will be on hand throughout the event at the Solentim exhibition booth (#83) to discuss our latest innovations and to answer any questions.

Also speaking at the event will be Hannah Byrne, Product Manager, Valitacell, and Angela Tuckowski, Associate Scientist at Janssen R&D Cell & Developability Sciences Group in Philadelphia.

Solentim recently announced a partnership with Valitacell to accelerate the discovery and development of biologic drugs and advanced cell therapies by enabling earlier identification of biological candidates. Hannah will be discussing this partnership, amongst other things, in her session ‘Automate your Bioprocess CQA Assessment’ at 12:30 on 3rd April.

We also have close ties with Janssen; by using Solentim’s VIPS technology Janssen has doubled the speed of their cell line development projects while still satisfying the clonality requirements of the Medicines’ Regulators. Janssen replaced the previously relied upon ClonePix technology with the VIPS; due to the tremendous success of this introduction, they have now invested in a further two VIPS units. Solentim’s partnership with Janssen, and the benefits of the VIPS in combination with ATUM’s technology, will be expressly covered in Angela Tuckowski’s session ‘Accelerating Cell Line Development using Transposase-Mediated Integration and Verified In-Situ Plate Seeding’ at 15:30 on 2nd April.

Dr Ian Taylor, Chief Commercial Officer for Solentim, commented: ‘BPI Europe is always a prime opportunity to connect with our collaborative partners, distributors and international customers from across the World, and often to see premiered some of the latest developments in this field.’ Dr Taylor added, ‘ We will also be making another exciting corporate announcement just before the conference kicks off.’

BPI Europe will showcase science and technology across the entire bioprocessing spectrum, covering bioprocess analytics, vaccine manufacturing and cell line development engineering amongst other topics. Just under 1000 delegates will attend, and representatives from all top-10 global biopharma companies will be present.

Solentim will be at booth #83 throughout the event – please do come and say hi, or get in touch to arrange a meeting.
