GSK presentation on the VIPS system at the forthcoming 8th Annual Cell Culture & Bioprocessing Congress in London re-enforces Solentim’s long-term vision and leadership in cell line development
Solentim is excited to be attending and exhibiting at Oxford Global’s 8th Annual Cell Culture & Bioprocessing Congress, taking place 29-30 October in London.
GSK, a valued customer of Solentim, will also be attending the event, and will be speaking on our VIPS technology. Gabriela Kozejova, Senior Scientist at GSK Stevenage, will present on Day 1 (29th October) at 11.50am, giving a talk entitled “How to be good at being single: evaluation of VIPS single cell printer for generation of single cell lines” as part of the dedicated Cell Line Development & Engineering conference stream. This talk will be of particular interest to customers working in gene therapy or exosomes as it will present new data for stable HEK cell lines.
The event will provide updates on novel technologies and therapeutic strategies propelling the cell culture and bioprocessing marketplace forward: from tools to improve effectiveness in cell line development to clinical case studies in cell and gene therapies. The congress also features focussed sessions on effective methods for bioprocessing and manufacturing, including of CAR-T and stem cell therapies, as well as a brand-new focus session on Cell Banking.
This years’ key themes include:
- Cell Line Development & Engineering
- Genomic Approaches to Cell Line Development
- 3D Cell Culture Models & Applications
- Upstream Bioprocessing & Analytics
- Downstream Bioprocessing
Dr Ian Taylor, Chief Commercial Officer for Solentim, commented: ‘Despite all the changes by our competitors in the past few months, through either acquisitions or strategic decisions to move their focus away from cell line development, Solentim continue to provide absolute focus, support and innovation for the CLD marketplace.” Dr Taylor continued by saying, “We are back here for the 8th year in succession and will be sharing details of our unique new standard for cell line development workflow, maximising the synergy of our instruments together with a number of verified reagent technologies from our industry-leading partners, raising the bar for cell line development workflow”.
Solentim will be at booth #1 located immediately as you enter the conference – please come and take a look at Solentim’s new-look VIPS.
